Welcome to the official website for Golborne Girls Football Club.

Established in 2003 our players range from 6 years of age through to 15 years of age.

Our aim is to provide an opportunity for girls of all ages and ability to learn, develop and utilise their skills in a safe and controlled environment.

Our main training ground is located in Golborne near Warrington at Golborne Sports and Social Club.

Training sessions take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays Evenings 6.00pm-7.00pm

Training starts at present from 6 years of age and individuals can start playing in teams from the age of 7 in development football with The Wigan and District Youth Football League or The West Lancashire Girls Football League.

In 2009 we became a Charter Standard Club with The Football Association and will continue with the high standards and policies adopted in our efforts to obtain this award.

2011 saw Golborne Girls Football Club recognised by the Football Association and presented the National Respect and Fair Play Award. GGFC were nominated by The Lancashire Football Association, the only girls football club in the county.
