We are full of pride that Golborne Girls FC, nestled between Golborne and Lowton, has achieved a remarkable milestone. With over 100 players now registered, this achievement stands as a testament to the dedication and passion of our players, coaches and wider community. In an area where sports often thrive in the shadows of larger towns and cities, Golborne Girls FC has emerged as a beacon of talent and camaraderie, not only attracting young talents from our immediate surroundings but also from neighboring areas. This accomplishment reflects the inclusive and nurturing environment the club has fostered, where dreams are pursued, friendships are forged, and a shared love for the beautiful game unites us all. As we celebrate this milestone, we look forward to a future filled with even greater success and the continued growth of our remarkable football family.

England Football Accredited is the new
framework for League and Club accreditation, and replaces The FA Charter Standard.

It is an opportunity for The FA and County FAs to recognise all Leagues and Clubs who raise the bar and set the tempo for football to thrive in England.

Our Ethos

We believe in equality on the field, and promote equal game time for players as rewards for dedication, commitment and hard work during training sessions.

We recognise our role in providing a platform for exceptionally talented players to reach their full potential and make strides in the game.

We cultivate a harmonious and enjoyable atmosphere for our older age groups, welcoming players with diverse backgrounds and experiences. While we hold sportsmanship and personal growth in high regard, we also strive to play at the highest level possible, with the objective of achieving success and victory on the field.
